There must be different formulations to address all these variations.

Different regions need different formulations. Geography and population density affect the amount of smog produced in different areas. And weather also plays a role. Places like L.A. need formulations that go farther to reduce emmissions than out on the Great Plains.

There would be issues in California regarding supply and they might pay more, and yes, I am sure that people in some states would be paying more. But overall it would help supply throughout teh country to have just one product spec. In Massachusetts we use e10 and it is supposed to be CARB spec stuff and we aren't paying those high prices. I've got to believe that if e10 was the only product available that it would be even cheaper here.

Imagine if everyone was paying California prices.
